About
Welcome, I’m Weronika—a registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor, trained postpartum doula and mother.
My journey into counselling began at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP), where I completed a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Applied Psychology, followed by an Honours degree in Psychology. I have continued developing my knowledge through additional counselling courses and professional training.
My practical experience includes individual and couples counselling, as well as supporting people within a rehabilitation setting. This experience has given me a particularly strong interest in addiction, recovery and the ways substance use can affect individuals, relationships and families. I also support clients through anxiety, low mood, grief, burnout, relationship difficulties and significant life transitions.
I am registered as a Specialist Wellness Counsellor with the Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners (ASCHP) [10304]. I work within my professional scope and believe in offering a warm, respectful and non-judgemental space where each person can feel heard and supported.

Alongside my counselling work, I completed my postpartum doula training through Childbirth International. As a mother myself, supporting women through the postpartum period is especially close to my heart. I understand how beautiful, overwhelming and emotionally complex the transition into motherhood can be. My postpartum work offers gentle, practical and emotional support to mothers and families as they adjust to life with a new baby.
Although counselling and postpartum doula care are offered as separate services, both are grounded in the same belief: no one should have to navigate life’s most difficult or vulnerable seasons alone.
My approach is compassionate, person-centred and shaped around the individual needs of each person or family I support.
Additional Certifications
My approach is supported by ongoing professional development in areas that are especially meaningful to my work, including:
