Rooted in Compassion
I believe counselling should feel warm, respectful and centred around you. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We begin with where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.
My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to walk alongside you as you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths and find a way forward that feels right for you.

What can I offer?
Person-Centred
You are at the heart of our work together. I offer a warm, respectful and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported at your own pace.
Trauma-Informed & Somatic
I work gently and with awareness of how difficult experiences can affect both the mind and body. Where helpful, we may explore emotions, physical sensations and nervous-system responses while always prioritising safety, choice and trust.
Practical & Integrative
Every person’s needs are different. Alongside supportive conversation, I may draw from mindfulness, grounding, CBT, DBT, ACT  techniques to help you develop insight, emotional regulation and practical ways forward.

What Is Wellness Counselling?
Wellness counselling offers emotional support through life’s challenges, transitions and periods of personal growth. It can help you understand difficult emotions, recognise patterns, develop healthier coping skills and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others.

You do not need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to seek support. Sometimes, simply having a safe space to feel heard can be an important first step.
Wellness counselling may support you with anxiety, low mood, grief, burnout, relationship difficulties, motherhood, major life changes, addiction, recovery and personal growth.
What Wellness Counselling is not
Wellness counselling is not psychiatric, medical or emergency care. As a Specialist Wellness Counsellor, I do not diagnose mental-health conditions, prescribe medication or replace the care of a psychologist, psychiatrist or medical professional.

If your needs fall outside my professional scope, I will discuss this with you gently and help guide you towards appropriate support. Seeking a referral is not a rejection—it is part of ensuring that you receive the care you deserve.
Why counselling and doula support?
My passion for supporting mothers is both professional and deeply personal. As a mother of two, I understand that motherhood can hold love and joy alongside exhaustion, uncertainty, vulnerability and enormous change. Every mother’s experience is different, and I never assume that my journey is the same as yours—but it has shaped the compassion and respect I bring to this work.

I chose to offer both counselling and postpartum doula support because emotional wellbeing and practical care are often closely connected. Sometimes a mother needs space to speak and process what she is feeling; at other times, she may need reassurance, newborn-care guidance or simply someone supportive beside her while she rests.

These remain separate services with clear professional boundaries. Counselling focuses on emotional wellbeing, while postpartum doula care provides practical, non-medical support. I will always be transparent about the role in which I am supporting you and, when your needs fall outside my scope, guide you towards an appropriate professional.

At the heart of both roles is the same intention: to help mothers feel less alone, more supported and gently held through one of life’s most significant transitions.
