Service Description
Gentle, practical and emotional support for mothers and families adjusting to life with a new baby. Each visit is shaped around what you and your family need most. Support may include: Emotional reassurance and a compassionate listening ear Practical newborn-care guidance Feeding support within my training Support while recovering from a Caesarean section or difficult birth Light practical assistance while you rest, shower or eat Guidance in recognising when additional professional support may be needed Please note that this is a postpartum doula support visit and not a counselling session. Postpartum doula care is non-medical and does not replace support from a doctor, midwife, lactation consultant or other healthcare professional. The fee applies to visits within my local area. An additional travel fee may apply depending on your location. This will be discussed and confirmed individually via email before your booking.
Cancellation Policy
Postpartum Support Booking & Cancellation Policy Postpartum visits are booked in advance and confirmed once payment is received. Any additional travel fee will be discussed before confirmation. I understand that life with a new baby can be unpredictable. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed visits are generally non-refundable, although genuine emergencies will be considered with compassion. Postpartum doula support is a non-medical service and is not counselling. I work within my professional scope, respect your privacy and choices, and will recommend an appropriate healthcare professional or specialist when additional support is needed. If I need to cancel, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
